We are delighted to share that PhD student Frank Naboulsi, Regional Vice President and General Manager of the Fairmont Nile City in Cairo, has had his research published in the International Journal of Indian Psychology (Volume 14, Issue 2, 2026).

His paper examines the health and wellbeing of workers across Egyptian hotel establishments, using a globally recognised health survey instrument to better understand how hospitality work shapes the people who do it.

The findings highlight meaningful variation in health outcomes across different hotel departments, reinforcing the importance of role-specific approaches to employee health and wellbeing. The research also points to opportunities for organisations and policymakers to strengthen the support available to hospitality workers as the sector continues to expand.

This work makes a thoughtful and timely contribution to the growing conversation around workforce health in Egypt’s hospitality industry.
