Our Students on the Global Stage

International Executive School was proud to have its PhD students Khin Zaw Aung and Htet Phyo Aung represent the institution at the Asian Conference on Aging and Gerontology (AGen2026), which took place last week. The conference brought together leading researchers, academics, and practitioners from across Asia and beyond to discuss the latest developments in aging and gerontology.

The two students presented their research on what healthy aging means to older adults in Myanmar, examining the social, physical, and psychological factors that shaped their wellbeing. Their work contributed to important conversations surrounding the growing global aging population and the need for comprehensive approaches to supporting older adults in living fulfilling and healthy lives.

Their participation in AGen2026 was a testament to the high standard of research being cultivated at International Executive School and the institution’s commitment to producing graduates who are equipped to make meaningful contributions to their fields on an international stage.

For those who missed the conference, the presentation video is now available to watch via the following link:https://submit.iafor.org/submission/submission105576/

The official article is expected to be published by IAFOR within the coming months, and the International Executive School community looks forward with great anticipation to seeing their work reach an even wider academic audience.

International Executive School congratulates Khin Zaw Aung and Htet Phyo Aung on this achievement and looks forward to seeing the continued impact of their research.
