We are delighted to share that Dr. Soula Kyriakou, Co-Founder and President of the International Executive School, was recently hosted by KIIT Deemed to be University, Odisha, India, as part of their prestigious Global Faculty Programme.
The twelve-day visit, which took place from 15 to 26 January 2025, saw Dr. Kyriakou deliver an extensive series of lectures and workshops across multiple schools at KIIT University, including Film and Media Sciences, Mass Communication, Computer Engineering, Fashion Technology, Design and Management. Her sessions explored topics close to the heart of IES, among them ethical and human-centred artificial intelligence, sustainable fashion systems, global branding and cultural intelligence, socially responsible communication, and CSR-driven entrepreneurship.
Beyond the classroom, Dr. Kyriakou also engaged with Indigenous children at the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), leading sessions on mind mapping and wellness to support self-expression and emotional well-being. She also served as a distinguished speaker at a national seminar on the Sustainable Development Goals, organised in association with NITI Aayog, where she shared global perspectives on human-centred education and its role in advancing sustainable development.
The visit was rounded off with a wonderful immersion in the culture and heritage of Odisha, including a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Konark Sun Temple, the Odisha Crafts Museum, and participation in Republic Day celebrations.
We are proud of the connections Dr. Kyriakou continues to build on behalf of IES, and of the school’s growing presence in global academic communities. This visit is a wonderful reflection of our commitment to internationally connected, socially responsible education.
